Important Update about A/P Council Nominations

Due to a technical issue, some A/P employees who attempted to submit a nomination for the A/P election on Friday may have been unable to do so. In order to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to submit nominations, we have extended the deadline for nominations to Tuesday, March 29, at 11:45 p.m. You should be able to go to the nomination form directly by clicking here.

A/P Council Elections to Open: April 4 – 15

Elections for 2022 Administrative/Professional (A/P) Council seats will open April 4-15. We invite you to make your selections during that time for eight at-large member seats and three representative seats. Interest statements for this year’s nominees will be available on Monday, April 4, at https://my.illinoisstate.edu/.

A/P Council Student Scholarships to Open: April 4 – June 3

Applications will be accepted April 4 – June 3 for A/P Council Scholarships! Illinois State University undergraduate students whose parents are current Administrative/Professional (A/P) staff members or retirees are encouraged to apply. More information will be communicated in the April newsletter!

Volunteers from across the campus community are needed to help with the Redbird Stage Crossing portion of commencement on April 28-30 and May 5-8.

Faculty and staff who have a dependent child attending Illinois State University during Academic Year 2022-2023 should submit a tuition waiver application to the Human Resources by June 1, 2022.

Nominate an outstanding Redbird with the new and improved online nomination form. The deadline to nominate is May 31.

For the fourth straight year, Illinois State completed the mission of Birds Give Back, a day where Redbirds come together to celebrate the University. Thanks to our donors, $958,944 was raised from 2,919 gifts, making this year’s edition the University’s second-best giving day ever following last year’s record-setting show of support.
