As we wrap up the Fall 2021 semester, I want to offer my deepest gratitude for the excellent work of our faculty, staff, and faculty associates throughout the College and the Lab Schools.

A team of authors in the College of Education recently published a new book that delves into the importance of read aloud experiences for young children.

It was 2012. Dr. Pam Hoff, a professor in the Department of Educational Administration and Foundations (EAF) felt discouraged. Her research was being done in isolation from others at the University, but she knew there was potential for extensive collaboration.

A group of D/deaf education majors and faculty from the College of Education worked to make a difference in the lives of D/deaf or hard of hearing (DHH) students in Chicago and throughout the state.

Dr. Andrea Jamison, assistant professor in the School of Teaching and Learning, joined the College of Education in Fall 2020.

The new EDI ISU wordmark, or a logo created mainly from text, was developed as a way to show unity throughout campus for equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts.
