Illinois State University is continuing the implementation of dismount zones for bicycles, skateboards, scooters, and other recreation and transportation devices. Dismount zones are reserved for pedestrian use, and riders are required to dismount and walk their devices through these areas. This applies to electric, motorized, and manual devices. Dismount zones were enacted as a campus safety measure.
