Civil Service Scholarship Applications will open October 1Scholarship applications will be open from October 1, 2023, and close with a December 31, 2023 deadline. Civil Service ISU Scholarships and Civil Service Non-ISU ScholarshipsThe two scholarships for Civil Service staff dependents were created in 1965. Their purpose is to award financial assistance to dependents of Illinois State University Civil Service employees. The student’s achievements and needs are both taken into consideration. They are made possible through funds presented by the Illinois State University Foundation and the Civil Service Council’s fundraising activities. Carl Johanson ScholarshipsAl and Elaine Goldfarb endowed the Carl Johanson Scholarship for Elaine’s father. The recipients must be an Illinois State University Civil Service employee working towards an ISU degree. Employees only taking courses one semester per school year are also encouraged to apply. The Civil Service Scholarship committee will announce the award recipients in March 2024. All online applications will open on October 1, 2023, and must be submitted by December 31, 2023. |
