The Illinois Birth to Third Grade Continuity Project is hosting a webinar on play-based learning from 9-11 a.m. Thursday December 1.


The session presented the recently released “School Leader Paradigm” developed by IPA to round out the actual personal, social, and systems intelligences and competencies needed by today’s school leaders.


Lynne Haeffele delivered a keynote speech titled “Poverty and Education Policy: Where Have We Been and Where Do We Go From Here?” at a meeting sponsored by Illinois Humanities.

There are currently 47 National Board Professional Development Schools in Illinois led by administrator leaders. The NBRC is expanding this program to include an additional 25 schools/districts to take part in this opportunity during the 2017-2018 school year.


CSEP staff attended a U.S. Department of Education Director’s Meeting in New Jersey earlier this month for the IL-PART project.
