Hello, Redbirds!

I hope you have had an outstanding start to the 2018-2019 academic year! Whether you are a new student or returning to campus, I want to extend a Redbird welcome to you all!

I encourage you to take a few minutes to browse through our August edition of the Your Redbird Life newsletter. This is a monthly compilation of articles that informs you of what’s happening on campus, and speaks to the impact we have on student life at Illinois State. It also demonstrates the ways that we show care to our students.

We understand that this is an exciting time for you as you kick off the new school year with your friends. We hope you have a great weekend, but please know that your safety is our number one priority. We encourage you to make choices that maintain a safe environment for you and your fellow Redbirds. Remember to show care and support for one another in doing the right thing and looking out for others in our Redbird community. If you see something, say something, and don’t be afraid to call 911 for help in case of emergency. We are here for you!
