P.E. majors meet with state reps in Springfield

PETE advocacy Springfield

A group of physical education students went to Springfield to advocate for physical education in the schools. They met with representatives of the House to advocate for a bill that would permit physical and health educators be deemed “highly qualified” and to oppose a bill that would allow students in grades nine through 12 to waive out of physical education if enrolled in two or more Advanced Placement courses.
