The Illinois State University Wind Symphony 2022 Tour included performances at several schools in Illinois and an invited appearance at the College Band Directors National Association North Central Regional Conference at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Featuring the consortium premier of Michael Daugherty’s “Songs from a Silent Land” and Paul Dooley’s incredible “Masks and Machines,” the Wind Symphony will perform on Thursday, November 21 at 8 p.m.
Featuring students from the premiere wind ensemble, the Prism concert will offer a wide array of immersive entertainment as audience members experience various wind instrument ensembles that rotate in continuous sets of music in a “no pause, no applause” format.
