Tornado won’t stop music for music education major

Senior music education major Tyler Sutton and his wife, Carolyn, were at home in Washington when the devastating EF4 tornado destroyed their apartment. They lost nearly everything, including his French horn.

College of Fine Arts students intern in Washington, D.C.

For the second year the College of Fine Arts took part in a universitywide initiative to have summer interns in Washington, D.C. Christina Fontenelle, an undergraduate student studying painting, and Molly Briggs, an undergraduate student studying acting/theatre management, were chosen to represent the College of Fine Arts and Illinois State University at the Smithsonian Office of Exhibits Central and The Studio Theatre, respectively.
