Illinois State University President Terri Goss Kinzy is serving as the 2022–2023 chair of the Missouri Valley Football Conference Presidents Council, and Illinois State Director of Athletics Kyle Brennan is serving as the 2022–2023 Missouri Valley Conference chair for the Directors of Athletics.

President Flanagan: Diversity a cornerstone of success

Illinois State’s President Timothy Flanagan believes diversity is one of the cornerstones of a successful campus. Flanagan, who joined the University in August, said he has long been a proponent of the empowerment that comes with embracing diversity. “One of the critical characteristics of a great university is recognizing that diversity strengthens us,” he said.
