This fall, Milner Library partnered with the Department of Health Sciences, specifically the students in the Global Health course, to design a community quilt based on the 17 goals for sustainable development created by the United Nations (UN) for the International Day of Peace. It is on display on Milner Library’s sixth floor through mid-December.

Bug eyes and blimp rides: U-High teachers engage students with virtual learning
Science teacher Emily Telford knew that it would be a lot more interesting for her freshman to examine sea level rising while flying over waterways in a blimp, so that’s exactly what she had them do- virtually, that is, through Oculus Go headsets that her classroom has access to.
