The Vidette and WGLT to co-locate
Two greatly successful news organizations will be under one roof. The Vidette and WGLT will be located together in The Vidette building, located at 500 W. Locust Street, Normal, IL, 61761. The co-location is planned to be completed by the summer of 2023.

Tribute to longtime Vidette manager Harry Thiel and wife Jo slated April 10
For many, The Vidette student newspaper was long synonymous with former general manager, Harry Thiel. A memorial tribute to Thiel and his wife will be at 2 p.m. April 10 at the Vidette office, along with the awarding of the first Harry and Jo Thiel “Red Line” Scholarship.

Isaiah Roberts, a marketing sales major at Illinois State who plans to go to law school, will make history when he walks at December commencement at 7,055 days old. He will be the youngest grad on record.
