Every August, new and returning students flood back to campus the week before fall semester classes begin. They are greeted by a large crew of faculty, staff, and students who volunteer to help these Redbirds move into university housing.
Earlier this summer Helen (Moser) Petersen ’70 reunited on the Illinois State University campus with two friends she met while living on the third floor of Atkin Hall in the late 1960s.
“As soon as you come to ISU, know there is an opportunity for growth in all aspects,” Zaman said. “If you want to get involved or start something, the opportunity is there.”
