Overseas bond market focus of fellowship
A fellowship from the Central European University Foundation Budapest in Hungary will allow Department of Sociology and Anthropology Assistant Professor Aaron Pitluck to study for two years overseas. Campus recycling efforts improving over time
The amount of recyclable material diverted from Illinois State’s trash stream has increased over the past decade, thanks to a proactive University Recycling program. The volume of recyclable materials recovered on campus has also increased with the conversion to a single-stream recycling system.
Strategic change detailed for future of campus
A plan for the University’s physical development has been approved by the Board of Trustees. The Master Plan 2010-2030: Looking to the Future includes 67 recommendations developed after extensive campus and community discussion. The plan addresses areas of instruction, research and academic support; campus life; administration; Intercollegiate Athletics and recreation; and general campus improvements.
