University Research Symposium shines spotlight on student scholarship

Illinois State students shared their research on virtual spiders, false memories, wrongful convictions, nanoparticles, and scores of other topics at the Graduate School’s Research Symposium. The 32nd annual showcase of student scholarship and creative expression was held Friday, April 14, in the Brown Ballroom and Circus Room in the Bone Student Center.

Mulligan to deliver Spring 2023 College Lecture, April 3

The Department of Chemistry’s Dr. Christopher C. Mulligan will deliver the Spring College of Arts and Sciences Lecture with “Pushing the Boundaries of Chemical Identification with Mass Spectrometry.” The lecture is free and open to the public. A reception will follow.

Three Minute Thesis competition, February 23

Normal Theatre, located in Uptown Normal, will again be hosting the Three Minute Thesis Competition.

The annual Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, February 23, at the Normal Theater located in Uptown Normal. The event is free and open to the public.
