Dr. Jason Kilmer to present on mental health and substance use on April 24
Health Promotion and Wellness is excited to welcome Dr. Jason Kilmer, associate professor in psychiatry and behavioral sciences at the University of Washington School of Medicine, to campus on Wednesday, April 24. Kilmer will be delivering a talk, “Mental Health and Substance Use,” shedding light on the profound impact of alcohol, cannabis, and other drugs on the mental well-being of college students.
Party on the Quad: Student-organized watch party for total solar eclipse set for April 8
Thousands of students, faculty, and staff members are expected on the Quad next Monday, April 8, for a watch party as Central Illinois experiences a total solar eclipse.

The College of Applied Science and Technology is proud to present the 2024 Science and Technology Week, celebrating advancements in science and technology and the hardworking, dedicated students and professionals who make those advancements possible. This year’s Science and Technology Week is scheduled to run from April 8-12.

Research award winners for 2023-2024 announced
Illinois State University announced the winners of the Outstanding University Researcher and the Outstanding University Creative Activity awards. Also honored are the winners of the Research Initiative Awards and the Creative Activity Initiative Awards. Recipients for these awards are selected from competitive pools of candidates.
