Castiblanco encourages other Bloomington-Normal residents to visit Illinois State with fresh eyes and a different perspective. “I’ve still been able to get out of Bloomington-Normal in a sense by coming to college here,” she says. “It’s all worked out, and this is a great university.”

Khoury and Shah place first in the 2018 ATMAE student poster competition

During the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE) Annual Conference in Kansas City, Missouri on November 7-9, 2018, Brandon Khoury ’17, M.S. ’18 and Manan Shah placed first in the student poster competition for their research poster, “The Future of Learning Using Virtual Reality to Teach Industrial Robotics.”

Honors Contract Contest winners go above and beyond

Every spring, the Honors Program holds an Honors Contract Contest, allowing students who have completed an Honors Contract in the past year (one of the six Honors Learning Experiences) to submit their work.
