A number of Illinois State faculty from several disciplines took part in at the annual meeting of the Latin American Studies Association held in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Eduardo Bonilla-Silva will present “The Sweet Enchantment of Post-racial Racism in America” for the Illinois State University annual Bone Lecture at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 23, in the Old Main Room of the Bone Student Center.
The Spanish Club is celebrating the end of the year with Fiesta Latina, an event full of Latin music, food and friendship. The event will run from 7 – 11 p.m. Friday, April 17, in the Brown Ballroom of the Bone Student Center. Tickets are available.
A free screening of the film Speaking in Tongues will be Monday, April 6, at the Normal Theater on North Street, followed by a Q and A.
