The Office of Student Research (OSR) at Illinois State University announced the winners of the Fall 2023 FIREbird and BirdFEEDER research grants.

FIREbird grants support students in Faculty-mentored, Independent Research Experiences with up to $1500 in funding for student salary, research materials, or for travel to conduct research. The BirdFEEDER is a small grant Fund for Experimentation, Enquiry, and the Development of Student Research) provide graduate and undergraduate students with up to $500 to use for research supplies, materials or travel to conduct research.

The Fall 2023 FIREbird recipients are:
