Queer Coalition and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies are partnering with YWCA McLean County’s Stepping Stones program to offer a lunchtime workshop exploring the impact of sexual assault and intimate partner violence on the LGBTQIA+ community. This event, which honors Sexual Assault Awareness Month, will take place on Thursday, April 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Southwest Learning Space on the 6th floor of Milner Library. Participants will enjoy a catered lunch from 11:30 a.m. to noon, followed by a presentation and interactive exercises.

All members of the University community are welcome to register to attend this event. Registration will close April 10 and is capped at 40 participants. Queer Coalition invites faculty, staff, and graduate students who wish to stay up-to-date on all that is queer at Illinois State to fill out a membership form. If you need an accommodation to fully participate in this program, please contact Queer Coalition at LGBTQ@IllinoisState.edu.
