The alumni magazine, Illinois State, is published quarterly in February, May, August and November. A popular section of the magazine, Class Notes, allows alumni to share with fellow alumni and the campus community information on job changes, promotions, special honors, retirements, marriages, births and adoptions.
Alumni are encouraged to submit their information, which will be published in the earliest possible issue based on the order the information is received and as space permits. Editors will not use information that is more than one year old, and engagements are not published.
To submit class notes, use an online form or e-mail your information.

I am a redbird graduate from 1986, before knowing I would be receiving a second master’s degree from Grand Canyon University, Phoenix. My second master’s degree will be a SPED degree and I can’t wait to graduate and recieve my highest degree I’ve ever been able to achieve! I started out being an Undergrad at ISU in Communications and now I’ve completely changed missions and am going after a second master’s degree in Education. Thanks to all who helped me in my 20’s, now look at me in my 40’s and getting a 2nd masters degree in Education! If would have only known that I was at the right school all along! Ok, so you learn your way as you get older, get married, have 3 kids and then go after a lifelong dream of being a teacher, special ed. no less!
Thank you ISU!
