Illinois State University Fall Job Fair, Redbird Arena
10 a.m.–3 p.m. Wednesday, October 6
Recruiters representing Fortune 500 companies, small and mid-sized businesses, local and state government agencies, social service agencies, hospitals, and graduate/professional schools will participate in this job fair. All or most of the employers will be seeking candidates to fill full-time openings expected in 2011. Refer to the Career Center website to view a list of the employers registered to attend and the positions they are seeking to fill. Some employers will be scheduling “Late Night Interviews” during the fair and will conduct them in the Career Center starting at 3:30 p.m. On-campus interviews are scheduled throughout fall semester through http://illinois.experience.com. Shuttle service will be provided for candidates from the Bone Student Center circle on the west side of the building to Redbird Arena the day of the event.
Fall Educators’ Job Fair, Bone Student Center
10 a.m.–2 p.m. Thursday, November 4
This event features local, state, and national school districts seeking qualified candidates for teaching, administrative, and support services positions. Related agencies seeking to fill non-teaching positions will be represented as well. Alumni are welcome to attend. Some districts will conduct interviews during the event.
Government Job Fair, Chicago
1–4 p.m. Friday, November 12
A variety of governmental agencies hiring for thousands of positions will be attending this event at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Alumni seeking a career in government should make their way to the Illinois Room, 750 South Halsted Street in Chicago. Check the ISU website for more information.
