Graduate Students who are planning a career in higher education, now is the time to start preparing to teach, and there’s no more informative and enjoyable way to do that than by attending Illinois State university’s annual, university-wide Teaching & Learning Symposium. This is a free event, but registration is required. Online registration is open now and will continue through December 28, 2010.
The 2011 Symposium will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at the Marriott Hotel and Conference Center, adjacent to our campus. The Symposium includes 35 break-out sessions led by faculty from all across the curriculum, a poster session, a free luncheon, a keynote address by author, educator and entrepreneur Eric Liu, and a closing reception.
