Baseball and softball season tickets are now available.
Survive a long, cold winter by starting to think about the sights and smells of spring, like attending an Illinois State baseball or softball game. There is nothing better than enjoying a hot dog outdoors while watching your Redbirds belt another home run, or sitting in the sun as the women on the softball team round the bases.
You can enjoy such moments this spring by becoming an Illinois State season ticket holder today.
On the heels of winning the 2010 Missouri Valley Conference regular season and tournament titles, the Redbird baseball team enters the 2011 campaign as the league favorite, according to the conference coaches. The 2010 Valley Player of the Year, Kevin Tokarski, is back in a Redbird uniform. He is looking to build on last season, during which he earned three postseason All-America selections.
The Illinois State softball team, along with in-state rival Southern Illinois, has been tabbed as the preseason favorites in the Missouri Valley Conference Preseason Coaches’ Poll. The Redbirds will be led by senior Abby Olson, who was selected to the initial “Watch List” for the 10th Annual USA Softball National Collegiate Player of the Year Award.
Season tickets and single-game tickets for either ISU baseball or softball may be purchased through the Illinois State Athletics Ticket Office by calling (309) 438-8000. For baseball, reserved season tickets are available for $50 per adult or $30 per youth. Family packs are also available, with two adult and two youth tickets for $115. Softball general admission season tickets can be purchased for $40 per person, $20 for youth, and $80 for the family pack.
