It’s going to be so much fun!!!! Come cheer on the matches Saturday morning!
Interesting how they are showing a girls rugby pic for the men’s 40th?
Thanks Schwanny. We got that fixed.
Never a played but watched serveral games while a student in mid-1970’s.
I have always rememberd the bumber stickers on the players’ cars/vans that read –
“Give blood, play rugby” or “It takes leather balls to play rugby”
Great memories from my time at ISU.
“THE Univerity of Illinois”
Cannot wait to see you Old Boys again, HURRY APRIL 29!!!
Is the official “Rugby House” still off of College Ave near the Pi Phi house? I was a Pi Phi and always partied with the best guys on campus at the Rugby House (’85-’87). Wish my brain would let me remember everybody’s names: James, Brian, Tom…. Remember the huge empty keg pyramids you used to build on Sundays after parties with the visiting team? Also, the pet pirahnas? Have fun!
