The seventh annual Redbird Fan Fair will take place again this summer on the Illinois State campus. Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy competitive scrimmages and carnival games.
The fair will be held August 20 from 5–7 p.m. at “The Plaza,” which is located between Redbird Arena and Horton Field House. Free to the public, the event is held in conjunction with the official kick-off of the 2011 Athletics season.
The Redbird volleyball and football teams will hold Red/White scrimmages. The volleyball scrimmage will precede Redbird Fan Fair and begins at 3 p.m. in Redbird Arena. The football scrimmage will follow the festivities. It starts at 7 p.m. in Hancock Stadium.
