Job Description
Keyseries LLC., a North Brunswick based staffing and recruiting agency for IT and healthcare is looking for qualified DBA’s to join our client’s team. This candidate will be collaborating directly with the team lead and an offshore team on new and existing projects.
Students graduating in December may apply.
Key areas of Responsibility:
- Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle 11g software and related products
- Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures as per the policy
- Take care of the Database design and implementation for different Cleartrip products.
- Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges)
- Perform database tuning and performance monitoring
- Setup and maintain documentation and standards
- Work as part of a team and provide 24 X 7 support on demand basis
- Perform general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development/QA/Product teams
- Extract / generate adhoc reports as may be required
- Maintaining various db environments such as dev/qa/staging on a daily basis
Desired Candidate Profile
- 1-2 years experience in similar job profile
- Proficient on Oracle Fundamentals & Architecture, SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedure
- Very good knowledge of Oracle11g & MySql, ASM, Linux OS, scripting & knowledge of Oracle RAC preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to perform both Oracle, MySql and operating system performance tuning and monitoring
- Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures for Oracle & MySql
- Past participation in software product development will be an added plus
- MS in CS/CE, but candidates with the right experience will be considered at par even from other streams
- Good documentation skills
