According to the Britain’s National Pig Association, a global bacon shortage will soon be upon us due to drought conditions in crop-growing regions. This tail-curling story (declared an “Aporkalypse” by Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert) hit the national airwaves and led to coverage by local news stations, including this piece by WMBD TV 31.
