The IT Internship Fair 2012, held on October 9, was a great success with over 150 students in attendance. The annual event is sponsored each year by School of Information Technology student members of the AITP Student Chapter and ACM Student Chapter along with College of Business student members of the BIS Student Club.
This year’s event featured recruiters from Administrative Technology – Illinois State University , Alliance Benefit Group, Applied Systems Inc., Archer Daniels Midland, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, Caterpillar Inc., COUNTRY Financial, Discover Financial, Follett Higher Education Group, Great Lakes Educational Loan Services Inc., Integrity Technology Solutions, John Deere, MasterCard Worldwide, Peoria Park District, Sikich, and State Farm.
Illinois State University Career Center staff were also on hand to provide students with information on services that are available through the Career Center to assist them in their job and internship search.
More than 150 Illinois State students majoring in Computer Science, Information Systems, Network & Telecommunications Management and Business Information Systems attended the event to connect with employer representitives.
