Enjoy holiday music and breathtaking views of Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago on November 30 at the “We Have a Piano” holiday party.
The event, which is sponsored by Illinois State University’s College of Fine Arts and the Alumni Association, will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Huron Room on the 23rd floor of the Allerton Hotel.
The party will feature the piano playing of College of Fine Arts Assistant Dean Pete Guither, who will perform holiday favorites and take requests. Guests pianists will be encouraged to join in.
Ugly holiday sweaters and festive apparel are recommended. A contest will be held to determine the best holiday outfit.
Admission costs $10 and will include light appetizers, holiday desserts, and hot chocolate. A cash bar, featuring the hot spiced wine Glühwein, will be available.
