The Birdfeeder, a book featuring reviews of Bloomington-Normal restaurants,was the final project of 14 students in ENG 254: Introduction to Professional Publishing taught by Jodie Slothower.
The students selected the restaurants, wrote reviews, did page layouts, copy edited the pages, developed all the supplemental pages and additional designs, and organized publicity for the book.
The students developed the project during the second half of the Spring 2013 semester. The book was created as both a print copy and in a PDF digital copy.
