One of the top disc golf competitors in the U.S. is an Illinois State business student.
Colleen Thompson, a senior studying professional sales and marketing in the College of Business, won both the National Collegiate Disc Golf and Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) Amateur World championships in 2013.
STATEside caught up with Thompson at Maxwell Park Disc Golf Course in Normal to talk about her recent successes, her passion for disc golf, and her plans to use her business degree to continue working in the sport after graduation.
