Experience diversity through food at the Taste of D.A.O. at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, in in the Student Services Building, room 375.
The Taste of D.A.O. is a collaborative program designed to give students, faculty and staff a “taste” of diversity and culture that extends beyond the enjoyment of great food. Through interactive presentations and experiential learning, attendees explore aspects of tradition, music, and food represented within the community of the four Diversity Advocacy Organizations (D.A.O.): Association of Latin American Students (ALAS), Asian Pacific American Coalition (APAC), Black Student Union (BSU) and ISU Pride (ISU’s LGBT organization).
The event, sponsored by the Diversity Advocacy organizations (ALAS, APAC, BSU and Pride), is free and open to the campus.
