The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service is a National Day of Service to honor King’s commitment and contributions to the Civil Rights Movement and social justice.
Illinois State students can participate in the day of service by giving back to the Bloomington-Normal community Saturday, January 25, from 9 a.m.–1 p.m. Volunteer sites will include the YMCA, YWCA, Heartland Head Start, and more. Projects will include making crafts, cleaning facilities, interacting with families, and facilitating activities for families with young children. Registration is now available.
