A Safe Zone orientation session for faculty, staff and students will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, at the Student Services Building, room 314.
Safe Zone provides faculty, staff and students the opportunity to participate in a two-hour orientation dedicated to educating participants on current issues and creating safe spaces on campus that are highly visible and easily identifiable to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) persons.
The event is sponsored by Diversity Advocacy.
