The International Seminar Series will present a talk on India’s call centers at noon, Wednesday, Feb. 19, in the First Floor West Lounge of the Bone Student Center.
Associate Professor Somnath Lahiri from the Department of Management and Quantitative Methods will give the talk titled Hello Sir/Ma’am, I’m John : India’s Call Centers and Internet Cafes.
Lahiri has published and presented widely on the topics of international business and management, with a particular focus on emerging economies. He is the recipient of the 2013-2014 College of Business Outstanding Researcher award, the Illinois State University Research Initiative Award and the Best Reviewer Award of the Academy of International Business.
