Athletic training undergraduates Nick Burke and Jesse Nelson, along with their professors Kevin Laudner and Noelle Selkow, are collecting data on elite baseball players in Arizona.
Their goal is to collect and analyze data on the players, specifically blood flow changes in the throwing arm, muscle tightness, and positioning of the shoulder.
This unique opportunity allows undergraduates from the School of Kinesiology and Recreation to learn the ins and outs of a research study. The results will be presented at conferences and disseminated in journal publications.
