Fans of collegiate softball will have an opportunity to watch some great action close to home when Illinois State University serves as host for the 2014 Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Softball Championship from May 8–10 at Marian Kneer Softball Stadium in Normal.
Come out and cheer on head coach Melinda Fischer and the Redbirds, as they seek their second MVC tournament championship in the last three seasons and seventh overall. All-session tickets for the tournament are priced at $20 and are on sale now at GoRedbirds.com or by calling the Redbird Ticket Office at (309) 438-8000.
For those who cannot make it to Marian Kneer Softball Stadium, the 2014 MVC Softball Championship will be streamed via Valley Live, the conference’s online video streaming platform. Valley Live can be viewed on computers, mobile devices, and tablets. The championship game will be televised live on Fox Sports Midwest, with R.C. McBride and Laura Leonard calling the action for all tournament games.
