The Illinois State University Career Center will host the Fall Internship Fair for students on Wednesday, September 17, from 4–7 p.m., in the Brown Ballroom at the Bone Student Center.
Students seeking internships in various industries while attending Illinois State are encouraged to attend. Recruiters will come from a number of entities, including Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, local businesses, hospitals, and government agencies.
“These companies not only represent a variety of industries, but they are looking for a variety of majors as well,” Career Center Director Stephen Cantine said. “The fair includes opportunities for internships and careers for students for all majors, and students are encouraged to discuss options and opportunities even with those companies who are not directly in their major, as many may have positions that are related to their field of study.”
Candidates attending the fair are encouraged to review the Career Center’s list of tips and strategies to help them prepare for the event.
