The Bowling and Billiards Center (BBC) will host Strike Out Hunger from 8–10 p.m. Tuesday, February 10. Illinois State students with a valid university ID may attend by donating two nonperishable food items. During the event, students can enjoy unlimited bowling, billiards, table tennis, and bags as well as grocery store bingo, food, and giveaways all free of charge. The first 50 students to enter will also receive a free T-shirt.
The event was planned as part of the Bone Student Center’s annual Random Acts of Kindness Week. All food will be donated to Home Sweet Home Ministries in Bloomington.
“We hope students will take advantage of a fun and very affordable night for a great cause,” said Stephanie Santucci, student marketing specialist at the Bone Student Center. “We’re excited to offer grocery-store bingo for the first time. Participants can win a variety of prizes all from the grocery store.”
If you need a special accommodation to fully participate in this event, please call the Bowling and Billiards Center at (309) 438-2555. Please allow sufficient time to arrange the accommodation.
