A celebration of the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in songs and readings will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, at the Ewing Cultural Center in Bloomington.
The historic Ewing Manor, at the corner of Towanda Avenue and Emerson Street, will provide an intimate setting for a performance of spirituals by sopranos Tracy Marie Koch and Carren Moham, and baritones John M. Koch and Anthony Gullo. Joseph Welch will accompany the vocalists on the restored Ewing family piano.
Seating for the event is limited and reservations are suggested by calling (309) 829-6333. A small donation is suggested for admission. Parking for the event is available at St. John’s Lutheran Church, across from Ewing Cultural Center.
