Philadelphia Redbirds have several ways to stay involved and reconnect within the last month of summer. Illinois State University hopes to see alumni at one or all of the below events.
Philadelphia Phillies v. Chicago Cubs
Enjoy a day at the ballpark to root for your favorite team. Game time is 1:35 p.m. Sunday, September 13. Those interested can RSVP by August 30 with network leader Phil Tripp ’75, M.S. ’77, to reserve a ticket and coordinate a meet-up location.
Amtrak Train Days at Philadelphia station
Most of the time Philly Redbirds are running through this station to catch a connection. On Saturday, September 19, take a day with fellow Redbirds to enjoy this activity for all ages. Learn more about trains with the many interactive Train Day exhibits from 11 a.m.–3 p.m.
BBQ with fellow Redbirds
Before the summer ends, the Philadelphia Area Alumni Network wants to get one last summer night in with fellow Redbirds! Keep an eye on the Facebook page for more information on this event.
