Live your adventure this semester with Campus Recreation. The Adventure program will be offering several opportunities at the start of the semester to soak up the great outdoors or just to learn a new skill.
Take advantage of many opportunities to get out on the water locally for day trips such as Sunset Kayak on August 21 or our Morning Paddle on August 29. We’ll also be heading for a slightly longer trek for Canoe Camping to the Wisconsin River September 4–7.
If hiking is more your speed, join us September 19 for a hike to Turkey Run State Park in Indiana. If you’ve never tried a Stand Up Paddleboard, or SUP, be sure to attend one of our free workshops, hosted in the pool every other week starting August 18. Then take your SUP skills outdoors on September 25 for Sunset, SUPs, & S’mores.
“We’ve got a great lineup planned for the entire semester,” said Rachel Iversen, assistant director-Adventure programs. “Students should definitely take advantage of the beautiful weather and sign up for one of these opportunities as the school year kicks off.”
