“It is an incredibly exciting time to be a member of a fraternity or sorority at Illinois State University,” said Yesenia Garcia, a graduate assistant for Fraternity and Sorority Life. “The All Greek GPA and philanthropic involvement are factors that have attracted such great organizations to join our campus community.”
Becoming part of the fraternal community provides social opportunities, philanthropic projects, community service, tradition, and career networking. The most-cited reason why people join fraternal life is the sense of brotherhood and sisterhood. This element brings a feeling of togetherness, support and teamwork.
