Illinois State University will host representatives from the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE) on Wednesday, September 30, 2015.
The budget overview meeting with the IBHE gives campus administrators the opportunity to provide input on the University’s budgetary needs for the upcoming fiscal year. Discussions may also center on the state of the University and general trends in higher education.
Meeting with the IBHE is one step in the annual budget process to secure an appropriation from the state. While the state’s appropriation bill is typically signed prior to the beginning of the fiscal year, the University’s FY2016 state appropriation is yet to be determined.
