Illinois State students and alumni in construction management, safety, and renewable energy are invited to the Construction Management Fair to meet with recruiting employers from 1–4 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2016.
Hosted by the Career Center and the Department of Technology, the event will be held at the Hancock Stadium Club.
Fair preparation
To help students prepare, the Career Center is hosting InstaCareer, a career preparation session, from 4–7 p.m. February 9 in the Bone Student Center.
Participants will rotate through various stations to learn how to introduce themselves to employers, how to make a good first impressions, dress appropriately, and how to research and follow-up with employers after career events. Students can participate in the session to prepare for networking with employers, including resume reviews and practice interviews.
A list of employers registered for the fair is available for students to research before the fair.

- Interview Stream: Practice your interview using our online tool from your own computer, and select questions customized to your position or industry.
Students attending the fairs need to bring their Redbird ID card and plenty of copies of their resume, and are encouraged to dress for an interview. Student can also order free business cards to distribute to employers and print out their resume on free resume paper through the Career Center.
