The United States Navy Brass Ambassadors will perform in a free concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, in Illinois State University’s Kemp Recital Hall.
Comprised of five brass instrumentalists, the Brass Ambassadors ensemble was established in 1982, and has performed throughout the Midwestern United States for military functions, public concerts, recitals, and school clinics. Led by Musician Second Class Gregory Lopes, this ensemble performs a wide array of musical styles including classical, New Orleans style jazz, and military marches.
The members of the Brass Ambassadors are: Jason Lucker and Steve Freeman, trumpets; Christopher Hess, horn; Gregory Lopes, trombone; and Collin Moos, tuba.
