The College of education has raised $21,370 of the $25,000 needed to meet the Jepsen Challenge by June 30, 2016.
Family, students, and transformative life experiences: That’s why alum Keith Jepsen ’67, M.S. ’68, and his spouse, Kathleen Dore, have funded more than 40 scholarships for Redbird teacher candidates to study abroad.
Today, Jepsen and Dore are stepping up their game. Through June 30, 2016, they will match up to $25,000 of gifts to the College of Education designated for the College of Education Global Initiatives Fund. Donations will fund study abroad opportunities for education majors, future partnerships, and international student exchange programs. These scholarships have an exponential impact, serving not only aspiring educators, but the hundreds of students each of them will teach throughout their careers.
Please consider joining the College of Education and the Jepsen family to help future Redbird educators take part in an education-focused international experience in Spain, Taiwan, Japan, Costa Rica, Brazil, Ireland, England, and more!
