De-stress before finals with a day of fresh air and time on the water.
Campus Recreation’s Adventure program is taking a trip to nearby Evergreen Lake to paddle, relax and enjoy delicious food. Participants can choose to canoe or kayak through the lake while enjoying the great outdoors. After returning to shore, hang out with friends and play a variety of fun yard games.
Picnic, Paddle & Play will take place April 30 and costs $15 for students/members or $20 for faculty/staff nonmembers, so be sure to register by April 26. Food, instruction, transportation and equipment are included in the registration fee.
“Evergreen Lake has many branches of water to explore,” said Rachel Iversen, assistant director for the Adventure program. “Participants can expect a relaxing trip before the stress of finals kicks in.”
