Fans know he likes to “Whine About It,” and now writer, comedian, and Internet sensation Matt Bellassai will bring his humor to Illinois State University.
The event will be a conversation with Matt Bellassai, including a Q&A session. Questions can be submitted in advance via Facebook or Twitter using the hashtag #ISUAskMattB.
An Evening with Matt Bellassai will be at 8 p.m., Monday, April 4, in Braden Auditorium at the Bone Student Center. Tickets are $8 for Illinois State students, and $10 for the general public. ISU students must have student IDs at the time of ticket purchase, and at the door the evening of the event.
Bellassai writes frequently about pop culture, humor, and the struggles of daily life as a 20-something man-child. He is the writer, producer, and star of BuzzFeed’s Whine About It, a comedic web series that draws a weekly audience of more than 5,000,000 viewers on Facebook. He won the 2016 People’s Choice Awards for Favorite Social Media Star.
Bellassai can be found on Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, and Facebook, where he shares—with his thousands of followers—the struggles of life as a single, gay man living a childish life in New York City. Bellassai was born and raised in Chicago, and currently resides in the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
